Overview
The arboretum is a huge green space that looks and feels like a dense forest, occasionally full of open spaces. It was founded by Mr. Batiscombe in 1907 and is now overseen by the Kenyan Ministry of Forestry. Enjoy walking in the vast of the forest as you encounter different types of trees and bird species. Also have a chance to learn that the museum aims to interpret Kenya’s rich heritage and offers a one stop for visitors to sample the country’s rich heritage both for education and leisure. In addition to the Museum, visitors are treated to a variety of shopping and dining facilities, as well as botanical gardens that offer a serene environment.
